WHAT IS WRONG WITH MONDAY?

Hi guys! TGIF! I was sitting in my study and a thought crossed my mind. Many are often depressed when

a new week begins but extremely happy when a week ends. At the beginning of the week, you’ll see
many people putting up words like, ‘the hustle continues, dear Lord help me’, ‘Is it Monday again?
Death to Monday…’, ‘Can’t we just skip Monday’s ‘and get back to Friday?’. My question is, ‘what has

Monday done so wrong to deserve this? Could it be you dislike your current life and wake up every day
of the week desiring the life of your dreams? Let me break it down. Success in life is not a measure of
activities, but in living (breathing) and contributing your quota in a meaningful way.

Today, I’ll be sharing some principles that you can apply daily. These principles will guarantee that you
will have exciting months, weeks, and days (including Mondays).
You may have heard this before, ‘you will never change your life until you change your daily routines’.
Unfortunately, this is very true. As you know, success or failure is not a sudden occurrence; it is a
function of processes. We live every day in preparation of another. In other words, you are preparing for
something every day or nothing if you do nothing.

The big question is what are you preparing for? What kind of success/failure are you preparing for?
Time is an equal opportunity employer, how you treat it determines the kind of success you experience
per time.
“The trouble with not having a goal is that you can spend your life running up and down the field and
never score.” – Bill Copeland

When preparing for your week kindly pay attention to the following:

1. Clarity of purpose. When preparing for your weekly goals try to be as specific as possible.
Sleeping for 5 hours is a better goal than ‘’sleeping well ‘’ because it is clear how success looks like and
also how to measure your progress.
Knowing exactly what you want to achieve will often keep you motivated all through the process.
Take the time to remove irrelevant features in your daily routine and be specific and clear about what
you want to achieve. This removes the possibility of settling for cheap alternatives. If you define the
action you need to take, you will eventually actualize that goal.

Here are few points that I want you to consider:

1. Be specific about the outcome. What you want to achieve should be clear and visible. When you know
what you want, the universe has a way of bringing them to you in different shapes and forms.

2. Success often has stages. Each stage births opportunity, challenges, competition, etc. Factor these in
and place systems in place to deal with them when they come.

3. Research. Find out the necessary steps you need to take to achieve your goal.

4. Visualize your victory. Put pictures of that new car, that awesome family, that ideal body frame you
want to have around you, or how you will feel once you’ve won that contract can do wonders to your
self-esteem. Research shows that constant visualization acts like a magnet and attracts what you want
to you at a faster rate.

5. What attitude do you need to maintain in order to actualize your goal? This process is refer to as
“mental contrasting” it is the process of turning wishes and desires into reality by bringing attention and
clarity to what you will need to do to make them happen.”
You can take your goals out of the fantasy world and bring them into the future by creating concrete
achieveable goals. In order to achieve them aim fully, you’ll need to articulate the desires floating in
your mind. This helps you channel your energy, time, and resources into things that really matter to you.
You’ll also discover that you live a more conscious life.

Remember:
Everything in this world is created twice: First – creation in your mind, followed by the manifestation of
it in reality. Without mental creation, there will be no physical creation. When you first create a goal,
you have set into motion a decree for yourself and the forces of your universe to materialize the goal in the physical reality.

So I’ll ask again, ‘how excited are you about Mondays?’ Follow my step by step plan and you’ll discover
that Mondays aint nothing but a day to achieve your dreams!
